President is going to kill free market

Quote from pspr:

My personal belief is that there is only a 50-50 chance America will survive the next 4 years in any form we will recognize.

Nuclear conflict in this time frame is not far fetched either as we cut essential defense and security programs to fund the new "new deal".

And just what essential defense and security programs are being cut?

The FY2010 DoD Budget is +4% over 2009.

Quote from Landis82:

As someone who used to work in #4 WTC and lost two good friends on that day, you are a SICK PH-CKING JERK.
Poor Landis82 and his friends ... wahawhwhwhwwhaaaaa! :( :( :(

*sniffle*, *sniffle*, *sniffle*

It never ceases to amaze me how many "low-lifes" flock to ET these days . . . Guys that couldn't trade their way out of a paper-bag, and have no problem laughing about 9/11 and Americans that died on that tragic day.

Quote from MandelbrotSet:

Let me know when you want to get together you cowardly little lying sack-of-shit, we most definitely can continue this conversation ...

Promises, promises.

By the way, your obsession with me is rather cute. Guys like you that use the Internet to "talk-tough" always crack me up because they're usually a panty-waist. :D

I have said it before and I'll say it again violence is no different than any other indulgence. Its good for you in moderation.

Someone needs their ass kicked.

These companies brought this shit on themselves, and they are getting what they so justly deserve.

[/B]

These companies belong to the "too big to fail" class and are therefore more than isolated entities that we can allow to suffer in isolation 'what they so justly deserve'.

Unregulated capitalism doesn't work; it's a naive theory that inevitably leads to the concentration of wealth in the hands of the most unscrupulous. Assigning blame is pointless since the real fault lies in the economic system that gives free rein to the self-serving and irresponsible as well as the well-meaning and productive; in the end, without enforced regulation, those who don't follow any rules will dominate those who do.

Some of the more egregious crooks should be punished, not because they deserve to be, but because we need to demonstrate that we have the power to punish those who compromise our collective interests. It isn't about right and wrong; it's about pragmatism and power. Who must have the power - the people at large or a handful of scheming scamsters who are willing to sabotage the global economy for their own gain?

A massive dose of socialism is now necessary to rescue the economy from the ruination brought about by unrestrained capitalism. If a few CEO's have to be flogged to death in the public square to demonstate the power of the people then so be it.
