Trump will drag any charges he gets out well into the general election cycle and just like that there is a legal quandary.

Politically, he owns the Republican base. Fund raising, rallying, organizing, the media. I mentioned before Trump could win the Republican nomination now from a jail cell because it’s true. These guys don’t understand Trump started the primary process for everyone early and he is sucking up the base right now. By the time DeSantis, Rogers, Pompeo get in there will be nothing left but crumbs.

Just glad this is all happening today and not Thursday. I live 15 minutes away from Mar-A-Lago south and will pass through there (well I-95 anyway), with PBIA on other side that motorcade will pass, on my way north out of town for long Easter weekend.
