Not really, All they can do is subpoena, they cant indict
Just part of the scheme to gather all Republicans contacts and communications to use against them in the next election...Get those phones, texts and emails
Special grand juries, which typically have 16 to 23 members, can’t issue indictments. But they can subpoena witnesses, compel the production of documents, inspect and enter into certain offices for the purposes of the investigation.

Lawyers who examined the details of the allegations told The Associated Press that while Attorney General Letitia James could potentially bring a lawsuit alleging fraud, she will face two major hurdles: proving both an intent to deceive and that banks that loaned Trump money were actually fooled.
“Were you sloppy, lazy or overoptimistic about your prospects? If you were, that may be bad business, but it doesn’t necessarily rise to fraud,” said Will Thomas, an assistant professor of business law at the University of Michigan.

But I thought that Trump was the greatest businessman of all time in the whole wide world! He knew more than the generals. He knew more than the doctors. Surely he knew more than any other bidnessman.
