Simply because Trump refused to provide the DNA. Not because the DNA is "inadmissible evidence" in a civil trial. The link to the NY Times article I provided outlines the entire situation.
If Trump did not rape E. Jean Carroll then why is he refusing to provide his DNA in order to clear his name?
She is a deadbeat.
Alleges a crime but did not report it because the circumstances at the time were not sufficient to get her the publicity she seeks. Trump had money back then and this is a civil suit so she could have sued then. Now she has some sorry-arsed story about how she is butt-hurt because he called her a liar.
Deadbeat. This is why you have statutes of limitation. The fact that New York lifted it to target Trump does not mean that the mess that goes with trying to try a decades old scenario becomes less messy. Having said that she has a New York jury that will want to get Trump, so she has enough going in her favor. The hell with her.
An man who did not rape her would have provided his DNA to firmly derail her civil suit.
She is a grifter and a deadbeat.
She should not be bothering Trump.

All George Conway, a lawyer, did -- was let Carroll know that a civil suit was still a possible path for her and then provided a contact of a lawyer who handled these type of suits.
