Yesterday, I would have said "New York is New York and you can't change that, and Trump just needs to get on with it and accept the fact that it can't be cleaned up until it is on appeal.
Now, from seeing the various reactions across the spectrum, I can see that even the lefties do not want to be associated with this pile of sh#t. The judge is no friend of Trump but no judge likes to enter into a ruling that he knows is extremely shaky on appeal. Most judges are always looking to be moved up to the appeals court or some kind of advancement over time, and the number of times and instances that a judge has been overruled on appeal is always a factor when they are reviewed. Plus this judge has ruled against the Trump organization many times so has picked up points there that gives him some leeway to show that he has stood up to Trump so does not need to do harm to himself just to feed the lefties- as much as he would like to.
I can see the judge reluctantly getting cornered into doing the right thing here- just for the selfish goal of avoiding getting burned himself.
Even Andy McCabe does not want to touch this pig and -let us just say- he has no love for Trump.
An even harsher critic than Romney — former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, now a CNN analyst, who was fired by Trump hours before retirement — said the indictment "landed like a dud ... an unimpressive document."

You're nuts! This has nothing to do with "anyone" getting their hands on those documents. It has to do with Trump getting them. He does not have a security clearance! He's never had one! He didn't need one as President. Now that he isn't President, but just a run of the mill JACKASS, he's required to get a clearance if he wants access to those documents found in his desk drawer. If the entirety of the case is the payment of money to teh lawyer who paid it to stormy to keep quiet, this thing is a case built on a pile of shit.... I would have never pursued this case unless there was more direct evidence of fraud or higher level of a crime. Paying stormy was not the crime, trump reimbursing stormy is what is being claimed is a crime because the DA is claiming it was a payment to further the cause of winning an election and in violation of federal election laws...
sorry.....it is a shit case because it is trying to stretch a story to fit the facts to meet the legal standard....those almost always end up as being too weak to prosecute.
