You should be able to find articles on the truck driver shortage since the 1980s, if not earlier. So what? It is irrelevant to my points regarding crane operators as I posted in the thread a few posts ago and the effect of vaccine mandates on Biden’s supply chain crisis.

It’s ok, you picked the wrong person to debate this issue with.

Time for an analogy using poker to highlight different levels of understanding based on skills and experience:

Poker Player A, considered a professional by table regulars, way over-bets the pot by going all in heads up against a short stacked player considered to be an amateur.

Poker Player B, also a professional regular player, sees this all-in bet as a cheap way for Poker Player A to “Range balance”, that is to play a very strong hand in an unusual way to throw off analysis by less alert regular players.

Poker Player C, a semi-professional regular player, sees player A’s all-in pot over-bet as weak, suggestive of a drawing hand, an attempt to protect a vulnerable pair, or to push a weak player off the pot.

The amateur player will likely call if he has a top pair or straight or flush draw, without much consideration for the reason behind Player A’s bet or pot odds for his draw.

Indications are, at least when it comes to debating supply chain issues, you are an amateur.

But hey, once Peter ButtGiggler finally gets off his paternity leave, he may provide us with his penetrating analysis and may yet save Biden’s ass on the issue.
