If enough are you going to be willfully ignorant about these issues ( e.g. gun control, the environment, health care ), then the world honestly doesn't care when it doesn't work out for you. An American shooting an American or another mass shooting in your country is hardly news anymore. It's just Americans being Americans.

Many folks here have tried to explain how unbelievably inaccurate your statement is. You just don't want to listen.

If we take out the gang violence of urban centers and illegal drug killings then it isnt anything like you claim. You make it sound like the Wild West, which is total horseshit. You've got 38 million people up there in the tundra, and gun availability has been limited for so long that you don't have the issues we have.

I've said it before, if there was a way for you lefties to get the guns away from the bad guys, I'd gladly give you mine. But you can't, so I won't be giving mine up any time soon. Its not about a gun culture. Its about protecting my family. End of story.
