I believe US and the world are in grave danger. The global economy is about to collapse. This will bring in internal riots and major wars.

The current political/economic system has outlived itself. For decades the rich were getting richer while the poor were getting poorer. There is not much incentive for the guy at the bottom to work hard, be creative, etc. because it won't get him anywhere. At the same time there is no incentive for the rich dude to do anything productive for thee society because the money is flowing his way pretty much regardless of what he does.

The Shortie solution is to RESET NOW by nationalizing everything, dividing the wealth equally and creating new laws. US could lead the way.

The plan may sound a bit drastic, but it is better to nationalize now from the top while there is still order in the country. The alternative is to wait 10-20 years, go through riots and revolutions just to end up nationalizing 1/10 of the current wealth (with 9/10 destructed due to violence).

Thoughts?

People like shortie have done enough of thinking before posting. Just because you don't get it, doesn't mean it's a retarded idea. USA is going down, whether or not people like shortie and I warn you in advance.

It is a retarded idea... nothing can change that. If u agree with this abortion of an "idea" then you are a tard as well... nothing can change that either. :p

Just like Obamma. Shortie and sanaz3 are young enough to know it all.Their closed minds cannot recognize reality. The world began when they were born. If it didn't then obviously the people that have tried this shit before just did it wrong.

and in 100 years we will reset the scale again.

How can you be so sure? 100 years in modern era is very very long period of time, and in 21st century it will be huge. You cannot predict what is going to happen 10 years from now and you think you can plan everything for 100 years ahead. That won't happen.

To put you in the perspective, get this: modern high-energy industrial era we're are living in now is only about 100 years old. Globalized economy is even younger, probably about 20 years old, 30 years at max. The stuff you see around is very new. Try this simple thought experiment. Imagine yourself in 1910 trying to predict and plan the future, be sure to forget what happened during 1910-2010 and act on the "newest" knowledge of 1910. History is too volatile and progress is exponential, unless you somehow oppress everyone and stop advancement artificially, like in some "1984" dystopia, and even such dystopia wouldn't last forever.

the time-scale change is an important point but the laws can survive that long. the precedent i have in mind is the US constitution which is >200 years old.

the trick is to set up the criteria NOW that will signal the next reset knowing that we will live in a different world ~100 years from today.

"This is America. People do whatever the f_ck they feel like doing, you got a problem with that? Because they have a right to. And because they have guns and no one can f_cking stop them. As a result, this country has one of the worst economies in the world. When it gets down to it—talking trade balances here—once we've brain-drained all our technology into other countries, once things have evened out, they're making cars in Bolivia and microwave ovens in Tadzhikistan and selling them here—once our edge in natural resources has been made irrelevant by giant Hong Kong ships and dirigibles that can ship North Dakota all the way to New Zealand for a nickel—once the Invisible Hand has taken all those historical inequities and smeared them out into a broad global layer of what a Pakistani brickmaker would consider to be prosperity—you know what? There's only four things we do better than anyone else:

music
movies
microcode (software),
high-speed pizza delvery "

125B is nothing, half measures won't change anything. only the complete wealth reset may do the trick.
