Prediction: Losing election simply due to climate scepticism

all I know is when the climate heats up the economy starts heating up. But when the climate gets cooler the economy gets cooler. So I agree with AGW (in a sense.) When the economy gets cooler the climate will also be cooler (isn't that their goal?) Does it really matter who came first, the chicken or the egg?

I think the main issue would be sustainability.

Any human effort to better the sustainability of this planet should be a good thing to pursue, I think!

My personal philosophy would be, based on our human spirit/nature, we really don't need too many arguments at all!

yet... we have

1350+ Peer-Reviewed Papers Supporting Skeptic Arguments Against ACC/AGW Alarmism

http://www.populartechnology.net/2009/10/peer-reviewed-papers-supporting.html

and you have produced any peer reviewed papers showing man made co2 causes warming on the earth.

by the way... how come Powell did not included those 1350 papers?

A climate researcher that could prove that that man made global warming is not happening would be famous. They could make thousands giving talks. There are none. Zero. This is what Powell's research shows.

The consensus among respected publishing climatologists that man is causing global warming by the release of greenhouse gasses is actually higher than 97%, more like 99.9%

Inertial pump for moving gases in a micro fuel cell
Patent number: 7732085

Abstract: A fuel cell device includes at least one and preferably two gas storage chambers, the gas storage chambers being connected via gas flow channels to a fuel cell membrane, such as a proton exchange membrane. A piston in each gas storage chamber moves to compress the gas upon being subject to an acceleration force. A flow control opens upon a predetermined condition being achieved to provide the compressed gases to a fuel cell membrane.

Filed: March 25, 2005
Date of Patent: June 8, 2010
Assignee: Pemery Corp.
Inventor: David J. Pristash

Micro fuel cell with membrane storage
Publication number: 20100000434

Abstract: An apparatus for the generation of electricity that may be in a “standby” mode for long periods of time, i.e. many years. Thus, in one embodiment of the invention, a fuel cell may include at least one of the following features or components: a membrane, and/or storage tanks or cells for hydrogen and oxygen, and/or an “inertial” switch, which may optionally be assembled in close proximity to a membrane. The inertial switch, when activated, may rupture the membrane and allow the hydrogen and oxygen to mix in a fuel cell.

Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell stack
Patent number: 7534514

Abstract: A fuel cell includes a stack of electrolyte membranes joined to one another to form an interior space and an exterior space. Fuel, such as hydrogen, is provided to the interior space. The electrolyte membranes are circular and joined to adjacent membranes at the outer perimeters to enclose the interior space. A stack of such membrane assemblies is provided on a shaft and is rotated within a housing to drive off byproduct water. The water is collected and recirculated by spraying over the fuel cell stack for cooling and hydration.

Filed: October 3, 2005
Date of Patent: May 19, 2009
Assignee: Pemery Corp.
Inventor: David J Pristash

Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell with tandem fuel tanks and inertial trigger
Patent number: 7442462

Abstract: A fuel cell apparatus includes tandem storage tanks containing activation devices that release the oxidant gas and fuel gas to the fuel cell membrane when needed. The membrane assemblies surround the storage tanks, overlapping one another in a configuration more suited to use in environments with limited space than the traditional, stacked membrane assemblies. The activation devices are triggered by inertia to puncture membrane valves so that the oxidant gas and fuel gas is kept from the fuel cell membrane prior to inertial triggering and is supplied to the membrane after inertial triggering. The activation devices include spring loaded pivoting arms on supports that swing downward and outward upon subjecting the device to inertial forces.

Fuel Cells Could Offer Cheap Carbon Dioxide Storage

A new type of fuel cell could make CO2 storage cheaper, but it could also prove to be a good way to pump more oil out of the ground.

...

However, the net carbon dioxide emissions involved in using carbon dioxide to increase oil production aren’t clear—some of the advantage of trapping carbon dioxide underground would be offset by increased carbon dioxide emissions from the oil.
