The game is simple, you post here your prediction for the SPY or ES where they are going to be 12 months from now, and I will give a lollipop for the best guess at year's end.

My guess for the S&P is -8%.

Reasoning is not required, but I have one, the first year in a new presidential cycle is usually the worst statistically, not to mention the erratic behavior of Trump.

So what is your guess?

In 2017, S&P will underperform emerging markets. Up, flat or down.

With expected appreciation in US dollar, it's highly likely that the overall US market will underperform. A good time buy would be underperforming stocks as their price will gradually fall soon.
 
I don't know, or could care less, where the market will be a year from now. o_O:confused:
Answering that question, for me, is basically asking what color the roulette ball will land on; it's a silly useless gamble.
There's too many things beyond my control that far out.

As for your lollipop prize -- you can keep that

15/16 markets scooped up the discount, Naz is breaking out of the 5k zone, sky's the limit, this bull is starting to suck folks in now, so far this bull is still very much alive.
