Pre trade routine

I fly to Houston from Austin around 7:00 pm and then I work all night in Houston and catch the 7:00 am flight to Austin in the morning. At 7:40 am I run like hell to my car in the airport parking lot and then blast off for my 35 minute drive home. From 7:40 am to 8:15 am I am usually ramming cars out of my way into the ditch so I can trade the open at 8:30 (how dare they get in my way!). From 8:15 am to 8:20 am I fire up the PC and check the connection status for data feed and the trading platform. At 8:20 to 8:29 I am trying to remember "who am I and what am I doing here". Then at 8:30 it is kickoff and the game begins!

Hi,

I trade from Europe and time difference between local and eastern time is really good for me. US markets opens at 3:30 pm local time and close 10pm local time. So I can sleep as long I want, or go play golf during the morning, then eat nice lunch.
:D

Typically I start premarket routine at 1pm - check charts, preparing setups, also watch bloomberg TV, post my journal onto my web page , then dring good cofee and at 3:30pm I start watch market.

There's a guy on here , Ken from DTU, who's in Hawaii and I think their trading day starts at 330am or so. Can you imagine getting up at 1 or 2 in the morning to go to work . . . wow.

Of course, that leaves plenty of time for the beautiful women on the beaches when the market closes at 10am

Don't pursue the baking trade :p
