PPT on CNBC

Nothing has changed in this business.
Whenever the talking heads attempt to prop up the market the market nose dives even harder afterwards.

I can't believe that there are still economist out there saying the worst is over and that we are still strong. What foolishness. They are insulting the intelligence of americans everywhere.

Quote from The Kin:

Bernanke and Paulson are on CNBC again and the idiotic congressman are referring to them as Working Group on Financial Markets. Also, how is the markets only down slightly with FRE, FMN and LEH getting nuked.

Alcoa is supporting the Dow

Quote from ByLoSellHi:

LMAO!

Someone needs to post video of Ron Paul ripping Paulson and Bernanke a new one on their alleged 'Strong Dollar Policy.'

I loved it when Ron Paul told the committee that there is a simple alternative to having a federal reserve - have none!

It was great to see the truth of his statements and calling Paulson out on his bullshit rattle Paulson so much.

If only we had a Congress full of Ron Pauls.

Agreed! Paul EARNS his money. The rest of Congress...

Ron Paul is a certified looney......totally stupid beyond belief....

a simpleton.......thinks the earth is flat.....

When Maxine Waters came on, I made a mistake and turned the sound up.

just about anyone unfortunate to be testifying when Maxine takes the stand is in for it....

and typical of CNBC, running block and interference, kept cutting away for commercials, phoney breaking news, and other unimportant nonsense.....

if there were another business news station available, it would be preferrable than those clowns...

Quote from bond tr4der:

It was painfully obvious that the market was being supported today. PPT is more active than ever.

You can thank Alcoa for supporting the Dow.

Quote from The Kin:

WoW. Bernake is nervous! He can barely speak!

I've noticed this behavior before with Bernake, and wondered why others haven't commented on it.

It sure doesn't help investor confidence.
