Post your live Forex trades here...

Your extra 7 would be eur/eur , jpy/jpy etc . For a rotal of 28 but those dont count.
The only reason i say this is because i would have to change a boat load of code
If it were not so..... Say it aint so.

Actually there are 8 currencies : euro, usd, yen, pound, canadian, swiss, australian and New Zealand, so 28 possible combinations or pairs.

and you can probably see my issue.

So if I understand you correctly, you want to trade spreads using pairs of non-correlated currency pairs to reduce the volatility of the equity curve. Interesting, but this will require some serious number crunching.

And quite frankly it is already very complicated to deal with "only" 28 currency pairs, so imagine 210 spreads!

Good luck.

Thanks.

Tell you what. I will look to see if my amateur hour code and charts can be easily adapted to show Eod data on pairs of pairs. I do collect free data from yahoo
on the currency etfs already. It would be interesting to see if there are
trends or levels in the pairs of pairs. I am interested as well.
If, how, or why this would be done intraday realtime by the pros is beyond me.

As a follow up on your comment regarding serious number crunching.
Its not. I have that part down for stocks and things

As a final follow up. I know jack. My 1st intro to spreads was by Mr. Maverick74 over on the ACD thread. I have simply read a book or two
and dont want to be perceived as a spreads guy. We are just talking here.

Still, with 28 currency pairs you can create 756 possible pairs of pairs.

So unless your system is 100% mechanical and can generate trading signals and initiate/close positions automatically via a computer, looking for the perfect trading opportunity on hundreds and hundreds of charts becomes impossible.

Out of 2nd pyramid stone EUR/JPY short with 0.5 % loss, and seeing equities just going higher with eastern Ukraine waving Russian referendum flags, out of the rest EUR/JPY shorts with 1.5 % win. So overall 1 % win. No exposure in EUR/JPY anymore. Good bye...
