Yeah, anyway. I'd like to be there when you explain to your grandchildren why you voted for Carter. 20+ % interest rates, record unemployment, inflation doubled in 4 years.Quote from dddooo:
When history is written I'd love to see you explaining to your grandchildren why you voted for the worst, dumbest, most corrupt and incompetent american president not once but twice. (personally I don't think Bush voters should be allowed to reproduce though). I really doubt your grandchildren will be impressed with your "Gore invented the internet" and "Kerry was swiftboated" explanation.
I did not vote for Carter, people who did vote for Carter could not know what his record and legacy would be. When they found out four years later they did not re-elect him (unlike idiots who reelected GWB). Nevertheless you may want to read this:Quote from jzlucas:

The Five Most Crime-Infested Big CitiesQuote from jzlucas:
Looks like the blue sections have the most crime...
2nd sentence in article: "In the Red states over 40% voted Democratic and in Blue states over 40% voted Republican." Also, the author picked 8 red states and 8 blue. Why not all of them? What exactly does this prove? Doesn't seem like a thorough analysis. This is almost as bad as getting your political views from flakmagazine.com. That would be like some radical right winger copy/ pasting junk articles from Newsmax.com.Quote from dddooo:
Death rates from motor vehicle accidents are 75% higher in Red than in Blue States (1.9 vs 1.1 deaths per 100 million miles traveled). Occupational fatalities were 7.9 per 100,000 workers in Red states and one-half that (3.8) in Blue states. Workers are more than twice as likely to die on the job in Red states as in Blue states. Red states had an average of 23.9% tobacco smokers whereas Blue states had 20.5%. Infant mortality rates are 57% higher in Red state than in Blue states (8.3 deaths per 1,000 live births in Red states vs 5.3 in Blue states). You are safer and healthier in a Blue state than in a Red state.
In education, the high school graduation rate (percent of incoming ninth graders graduating) averaged 61.3% in our Red states and 73.4% in our Blue states. Blue states had a 12.1% advantage. Child poverty was more prevalent in Red states, with an average of 19.6% compared to an average of 14.1% in Blue States.
Violent crimes (offenses per 100,000 population) has scattered data but the average for Red states is 499 vs 357 in Blue states.

That sure beats your claiming that "the blue sections have the most crime"...without providing any links or sources.Quote from jzlucas:
