Post Covid-19 ERA. WORLD Never Will Be The Same.

Viruses come and cause harm, some little and some high and then dry down. Just like Sars1, Swine Flu etc. Covid will be the same but might take its time given it is very infectious 10-20x more than common flu.

Do not see us wearing PPE all the time but sure do things like masks when outside. People in Japan have been doing so for many years now.

What medical authorities both public and private need to do is find a good cure i.e. reverse the ARDS acute respiratory distress syndrome. Then when the next strain of virus hits, most will get away with minor cough and cold while those who develop ARDS like situation will get into hospital and get cured.

Vaccine will not help longer term as new strain can hit forcing us into same cycle of mess that we are seeing these days.

We cannot remove all the virus as that would totally kill our immune system. We get hit with lots of viruses and bacteria all the time and our immune system fights them off and in process keeps itself well practiced and battle hardened. Without such constant work load, the immune system will go lazy and probably ineffective.

But I gonna bet nor ours health experts, nor ours government will do it proper way.

Others will soon allow some to go back to work.

A vaccine (hopefully within a year or two) will bring everything back to "almost normal". Unfortunately, there's a minority of individuals out there that do not believe in vaccines. Thus, when there's a vaccine available...those minority of individuals will refuse to take a vaccine nor allow their children to be vaccinated.

Simply, Covid-19 will always be around thanks to the idiotic minority that don't believe in vaccines but everything else will be "almost normal".

Last of all, some governments did not shut down. Thus, they only recommended to their citizens to wash hands (at least 20 secs) and to social distance...that's it.

Yeah, some places are a mess (NYC) and others are worst (e.g. Italy) and some had not shut down (e.g. Sweden).

I've discussed all of such in message posts in other threads.

My point, as stated elsewhere in other threads, there has never been a Pandemic where "everything goes back to normal"...some things will change and other things will continue as normal as if nothing happen.

That's life about anything else when there's a sudden change involving tragic events (e.g. war) in one's life. Simply, some will be very happy with the new changes while others will react as if their rights have been taken away.

Personally, I enjoy less crime, less pollution and I'm a trader...I already work from home. The biggest change in my life that was an immediate impact...kids are home from school...all day and their online homework is inadequate even though the school was already online capable years prior to Covid-19.

Simply, I see a problem in the teachers themselves not prepare to educate online or most of them were not prepare. Yet, as I imply...people do in fact adapt. Thus, this time next year...schools will be better at educating online if such is still needed or another Pandemic occurs in the future and they will better to react.

Wars last years...Pandemics usually several years itself. People will never be use to this stuff and should never get use to it. I've seen the toll from both (War and Pandemic)...personally experience each.

The aftermath is ugly.

Thank you. Nobody saying that new vaccine is not going to be 100% solution. Does that mean new coming vaccine is not going to work for close to 100% population, that would make even more pessimistic vision of the future. Can you clear it out?

Well, it is better to be optimist than a doomsayer. And we only had a pandemic like this in every 100 years, so that is not bad compared to how humanity is everywhere.

Even without vaccine after the 3rd wave 80% of people will have it thus herd immunity will be a thing.

And who knows, maybe people will have a healthier lifestyle like less fat, less smoking, less sugary food.
