Post count...can we eliminate it?

ES I've enjoyed your insight and humor. Take a break, but don't leave.

Strike a comprimise, and have Baron reset your counter to say... 1500 or 2500 if you wish.

Like my Dad used to say, "Life's too short for unproductive friction." What he meant by that was solve the perceived problem as best you can, then get on with the mission at hand. In our case learning about, and implementing a good trading plan!

Cheers to you and Wifey!

It seems to bother you being reminded that you have made 10,000 posts. Why is that? Do you feel that you have wasted so much time posting? Do you feel that others view you as a loser for having wasted so much time posting? Do you not want to be known as the guy on ET who has contributed so much for so little? Or, does it keep reminding you that you having nothing else to do but post on ET? You seem awfully defensive about this 10,000 post milestone. You can answer all of the above if you'd like. :)

A quick and rough estimate of the time needed for 10000 posts and the necessary time required to read replies and such = aprox. 41 40 hours weeks or in his case almost 3 months worth of 40 hour work weeks per year. I'm guessing it's more because he posts in every heading and as his own wife so that must take much more time. Kind of sad really but some people do chose online lives over the real thing.
