Post-Conviction Polls Show Increase In Support For Trump

A Daily Mail poll conducted by J.L. Partners found 22 per cent of respondents to have a more positive view of Trump as a result of the conviction compared to 16 per cent who have a more negative view.

In other words, the conviction has totally backfired and handed Trump a 6 percentage point approval boost.

Virginia is not widely considered a battleground state this election cycle -- or perhaps just not yet. After winning the state by more than 10 points four years ago, President Biden finds himself in a tie with former President Donald Trump, according to a new Fox News survey of Virginia registered voters.

The poll, released Thursday, shows Biden and Trump with 48% each in a head-to-head matchup in the Old Dominion State.

I will note that the latest ECU poll for the Presidential race in North Carolina shows the verdict had little impact on how citizens will vote. Trump is still up 48% to 43%.
