Post a picture of your ride

Now that we're on the topic of private jets....not that anyone here actually owns one, but anyway.

retails for oh 60 million plus.

Dreamliner? Wtf is wrong with you? If you knew half the things that went wrong/are wrong with that plane you wouldn't sit in the airport with it let alone fly in it.

And by the way its 787 not 747

P.s. Started as 7E7 then got switched to 787

The GT3 actually has a black roll cage in it. While it is street legal, it is definately a summer car and not meant for driving on a daily basis unless your back can stand the cramped quarters and the unforgiving nature of the car when rolling over road imperfections. I only bring this one out on nice days. As I said before, its a car thats only made for one purpose in true sports car fashion.

I bought the Audi back in 2005 as I needed a decent reliable low-key 4-wheel drive car to commute into the city when I was living in NJ. What sold me on the Audi was its roomy nature. At that time, I was rarely at home and needed a car where I could place my personal items while I commuted. Sometimes I would grab a quick nap in the back in between meetings and other responsibilities. It was nice.

When I moved into the city (after getting tired of the never ending commute), I gave this to my son who goes to college and resides in NJ.

There is but 1 reason to spend more than a few $K on a ride - it might get you some ass from women you would be a fool to marry. Not that that's a bad thing... :D

I have a 98 Ranger 4X4. Got it used and it's been paid off for years. I can afford just about whatever I want. So what? The truck will go every place those $$$$$ rides will go, just a bit slower and it will tow my boat AND I can get into amazing Mojave and Nevada and Death Valley off-road places. Try THAT in your 911!

Very few if any succesful traders drive these muddle class symbols of wealth.

disagree

trading firms i've worked at were the exact opposite

it was rare for a trader to make big time money and not splurge on a car

Some people long for a great car before they've had one... then they realize "it's just a car.".... and make more sensible buys on subsequent purchases.

Others of course always go for the flash...

Shit, I get buyers remorse just buying a new vehicle to begin with. In Texas, successful traders show off by purchasing ranches, fuck a stupid car. Cars are a waste of capital and quickly depreciate; no matter how nice and expensive your ride is, your still stuck in traffic behind a clunker.

Ranches at least give you an asset that appreciates over time, is very enjoyable for weekends and entertaining, hunting, gardening, fishing, etc. For those with kids, what a childhood memory, growing up being able to roam free and explore.

I own the family school bus (2002 chevy tahoe), and my Jeep Unlimited Rubicon, (I am a ragtop guy).
