You can start here.... most of them are drug related.

I am not making the case that wealthy people do not receive better "justice" than poor people. First of all most poor people cannot afford to bail themselves out of jail, and cannot afford good legal representation. Yes, I agree there are obvious differences in justice based on wealth.

Ok, you can see that. So "justice" is about money and fame in the USA. The USA law differ to who have the money and fame. To break the (SAME) law for poor people and wealthy people differ so much for the consequences.

Nearly every country has the same issue. In fact the lack of equality in justice is much worse in many countries outside the U.S. -- at least we have one of the most transparent justice systems in the world in terms of public records, transparency, sentencing standards, and appeals process.

Again, no victim, no crime. Get rid of victimless crimes completely. That's step one. If each "criminal" adds money to the private prison system, then you can guess what the private prisons will be lobbying to ensure.

The fact that a complete nutjob like Sanders is doing so well shows how dangerously radical the modern democrat party has become. Their voters are angry at Obama...for not doing more damage to the country. Come on people, he's only one guy and he has a lot of golf to play. They reject Hillary on similar grounds, not radical enough.

Doesn't he promote the idea of "everything free for everybody"? Since when is ANYTHING free... let alone everything?

Of course the hoi polloi celebrate the notion of "free everything"... but how realistic is that? IT'S NOT!!

Private prisons may or may not be a great idea. Part of me doesn't like the idea that the government convicts people then hands them off to a private company. Somewhat Orwellian. But the cost of providing any government service has become so ridiculous yu can see why state governments want to save money.

I see the idiotic War on Drugs and sending people to prison for pot as far more cut and dried. It hasn't worked and it has caused huge problems. I say, if you can grow it, it's legal. if it has to be processed, then it can be regulated, like normal pharmaceuticals.

Since half don't pay income taxes, it is already basically free for them. And like Romney said, they will never vote for a republican.

This is being a little over simplified. It's not like the prisons are full of little angels who had nothing more than a nickel bag in the glove-box. Certainly there can be improvements and better judgement on who we lock up and with whom they're locked up, but this "solution" will not deliver the expected results.
We're not getting to the problem soon enough. The total breakdown of the family is a huge driver in all of this. The educational system run a muck pours fuel on that fire. These kids need something positive and proper supervision. They need much better guidance than they're getting, which in many cases is none at all. The fix is complicated and not as easy as is being portrayed.
