It is my understanding, based on frequent debates, that states laws regarding IDs, address matches, voter roll comparisons, post voting audit procedures are different and often not that responsive to ensuring the integrity or transparency of the vote. It is has been estimated there are on average of 4 to 5 people associated with a particular Social Security number. I learned this when I prepared taxes under H&R Block some years ago.
A quick Google search turns up this article discussing hackers obtaining 60 to 80% of all social security numbers according to an NPR article titled "Theft Of Social Security Numbers Is Broader Than You Might Think", whose link I am unable to post here for reasons unknown.
How are there 4 to 5 people associated with a particular Social Security number?
I am sure the U.S. government and the credit rating agencies would disagree with this assertion.
Social security numbers may get stolen -- but when they are used to open fake credit card accounts or used for tax filings -- they are usually identified and the fraud is shut off rather quickly.

I have personally seen a random social security number entered into a computer for the purposes of pulling a credit report and multiple names coming up. After further validation efforts, the credit applicant is either denied or approved for credit. As far as the other names that come up, I don't know what happens to them.
When you have a really aerodynamic brain, anything seems plausible if it makes you feel good.
Speaking of criminal activities though, I'm looking at the camera at my forge and a robber is now stuck between the first and second doors. I guess the first door didn't fully close, he is trying to figure out why the 2nd door has no lock. It's opened by a QR code you have to show the camera or my face.
He foolishly locked the outside door though.

This would be the easiest thing to discover but the Government doesn't want to. Most illegals will list many dependents...A 21 year old illegal will list 9 dependents so he can have the least amount of weekly taxes kept.
Because they use a lifted SSN they dont file taxes and forgo any refund. A nice deal for the Government. Also all the extra payments into SS most likely will not be paid out
The E-verify program will never happen. The government gets to much free money and business needs the illegal employees
Most illegals are using ITIN numbers now since the IRS cracked down on illegally using someone else's SSN numbers. Illegal immigrants are allowed to use ITIN numbers. The illicit use of SSNs has been gone for at least a decade -- it serves no purpose when an ITIN can easily be used.
I dont know how long ITIN has been around
It requires the illegal to report himself to officials, that's not going to happen, Also They could not list all the dependents and would have a lot more tax held from the weekly check
They would need to file yearly taxes, now they dont
Maybe DACA illegals use it
