In one corner, President Trump and his allies claim massive fraud cost him the 2020 election.

In the other, Democrats and sympathetic media allies argue that the vote was free and fair and that the charges of fraud amount to sour-grapes conspiracy mongering.

Many allegations advanced by the president, his surrogates and supporters have been challenged and some have been dismissed by courts or debunked.

Still, in numerous instances, media fact checkers have not been diligent. They have simply run the allegations past state authorities and other officials who would have orchestrated the alleged fraud or had an interest in minimizing irregularities.

It was thus hardly surprising when the New York Times reported that it had called officials in every state and was told, as the headline said, that there was “No Evidence of Voter Fraud.” That’s the kind of statement that inspires skepticism because fraud is inevitable in any big election. The Times itself seemed to acknowledge just that in the article’s sub-headline, which said, without presenting evidence, that there were “no irregularities that affected the outcome.”

Of course, “irregularities” in a basic function of American democracy, even if they did not affect the outcome, remain a significant part of the 2020 election story as court cases and controversies continue. Below is a running, selective collection of hyperlinked articles detailing charges of ballot irregularities or electronic fraud being made in various states, especially key battlegrounds such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

And even with such a list they lose in Court with 1 against more or less 50! Tells a lot about the "quality" of the proof.

Or a commonality of the judges. By the way, the Trump Campaign “Won” another remedy or two recently. It may just take one win to blow this whole thing wide open.

Texas goes to Supreme Court and files lawsuit against four Biden states

The US state of Texas comes to the aid of President Donald Trump in his quest to turn his nationwide election defeat into victory. Texas, where Republican Trump did win, is going to the Supreme Court in Washington DC.Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed suit against four states where Biden gained the majority, but where Trump still triumphed four years ago. These are battle states of Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. According to Texas, the four states have gone wrong. They changed election procedures in connection with the corona crisis, but that would have been illegal. With the exception of Georgia, the states in question all have a Democrat as their governor.

Just add this to the scrap pile of lawsuits that the Supreme Court will not take up.

But let's take a look at the idiot who filed the suit that the state has no standing in -- Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who fired all of his senior aides for blowing the whistle on his illegal activities -- which the FBI is investigating.

Last whistleblower fired from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office days after suing for retaliation
Ryan Vassar, who had served as the deputy attorney general for legal counsel, was one of eight senior aides who told authorities they believed Paxton was breaking the law — a report that has sparked an FBI investigation

The Texas attorney general’s office has fired the last remaining whistleblower who alleged Ken Paxton broke the law in doing favors for a political donor — just days after aides had sued the agency alleging they suffered retaliation for making the report.

Deputy Attorney General for Legal Counsel Ryan Vassar — who had already been placed on paid leave — was fired Nov. 17, according to internal personnel documents obtained by The Texas Tribune, making him the fifth whistleblower to be fired from the agency in less than a month. The three others who reported Paxton to law enforcement have resigned.

On Nov. 12, Vassar and three of his former colleagues filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the Texas attorney general’s office, claiming they had suffered retaliation after they told law enforcement they believed Paxton broke the law by using the agency to serve the interests of a political donor and friend, Nate Paul.

I hope texas has to pay a huge multi milliondoar whistleblower settlement in this case.... it is the only way State's learn sadly. 4 people report and all 4 get fired and the State does nothing..

A $50 million dollar settlement will fix that. Oh they will settle because in front of a jury...they will have to pay double.

We finally have someone at the state level now that is stepping forward to say no way. Ken Paxton looks to be the John Paul Jones, Paul Revere, Patrick Henry and George Washington of this generation---His actions are truly patriotic.
