Damn, I know this is the ET politics section, this thread is about US Elections, and there is someone from Canada acting righteous on what we should believe, but still, what’s wrong with trying to be a little more diplomatic?

Don’t get me wrong, I repect your position and the fact you are a passionate about what you believe.

I have travelled to Canada quite a few times to deliver loads, driven on their roadways, shopped in their malls, gone to their nightclubs, and watched some of their TV programs. Long story short, I have great respect for Canadians and personally am willing to tolerate those whose views have been distorted by Leftist media. Nine_Ender, as you know is smart and passionate about his views. Nine_Ender is probably more educated than me, but when it come to WW II history, especially the military related aspects to the war, he falls behind for I have made it a point to study that part of history in depth.

Bottom line, try to play nice, even in regards to US politics in the ET politics section as we have a significant international audience of substantial people.

It's an accurate representation of the US situation at this point. When some twat gets on here with hubris trying to denigrate Canada I'm going to fire back hard. If anything, Americans should be trying to repair their image and role in the world not aggravate people in their supposed allies. It's factual that the US has never been as unpopular in Canada as it is right now; less then half of Canadians see the US in a favorable light ( the lowest in recorded history that kind of number used to be 80%++ ). That's the US itself; Trump is far lower probably under 10% now.

I know there are decent Americans out there. However, you've allowed the nuts and the agro fucks to represent you and it's taken it's toll. I posted a thread that decent Americans have to take back their country from these fucks. This poster "vanzandt" I gave him a chance but he's exactly the guy I thought he was all along. I don’t know that we have let them represent us so much as they have leveraged the American political system in a way that allows the minority right wing to control much of the political power.

Our presidential democracy is certainly showing its weaknesses. Consistently now when the republicans win the presidency it is without a majority of the population and their senate representation is equally lopsided.

More and more the democrat leaning states are becoming disenfranchised despite producing the vast majority of wealth and growth in the country. These are real structural imbalances and cause for true grievance.

Now the right wing is even going after our democracy and that would break faith with the constitution.

We often hear empty threats from right wingers about secession but don’t be surprised if that movement starts coming from the coastal blue states.

Signed affidavits alone cna fall into hearsay because they state what a person believes they saw with no way to corroberate. It is no different than a witness going on a stand and saying "We were told to leave and stop counting". When the election officials come out and say, no one was asked to leave or stop counting, the affidavit is thrown in the trash unless there is evidence.

Same thing? Preponderance of evidence is a much lower bar than beyond a reasonable doubt.

That would be the preponderance of evidence that makes it likely that they were told to leave.
