He was right, the US didn't win WW2. A coalition of Allies won WW2. Can't be helped if your understanding of history is weak.

One thing someone here did point out (a while back) was that Russia doesn't get enough credit. I tend to agree with that. Russia paid the price more than anyone, they drained Hitler, and then went into Berlin and finished the job.

One thing history tends to conveniently overlook... Stalin moved all his assets East and was ready to help us with Japan. Hirohito knew this and would have surrendered within days, he knew it was game over. Had we given it some time, we didn't need to use the A-bombs.
