possible deduction question

If I open a trading account let's say with 10K , regardess to what it's going to happen at the end of the year(loss or gain), is there any way that I could deduct the 10k? Could the 10k be considered any kind of business expensses or something else?

only if you form a company and give it[the company] the 10k and open the account in the companie's name.


for you as an individual, it's just capital.
