The article assumed the coronavirus originated in Wuhan, China and infected California in fall, 2019 via Chinese travelers from Wuhan.
But it looks more likely the coronavirus originated in California and infected traveler from Wuhan.

The reason is that if coronavirus originated in Wuhan, it would outburst more seriouly in Wuhan than California at that time.
