Hello,
I have been recently investing in small caps. Is there a rule of thumb for choosing the maximum amount of funds I can invest in a small-cap stock without significantly affecting its price?
Let's say there is a small-cap with an average daily volume of 1 mln, with a price of $1. If i am going to invest in this stock $10k, then my order is going to account for 1% of the whole daily volume. I suppose this should move the stock, or not?
What do you do in this kind of situation? 1% is too much or it is still negligible?
