I'm curious as to whether any software package offers the following:
The ability to specifiy a given portfolio value, and to specify that ALL positions should be closed if the portfolio's value then drops, say, X percent below the specified value.
I know that one can (of course) set stops for individual positions, so this is really asking whether anyone knows of any trading software which, in essence, can set a stop for the entire portfolio at once, based upon the whole portfolio's value.
Essentially, I'm interested in just 'getting out' of every position if my portfolio should experience a drop of X percent from a price I specify....
Any guidance would be much appreciated!
