1. democrats went from being a party of classical liberals during 70s and before to being completely bought out by bankers and silicon valleys. They went from being classical liberals aligned with labor to being progressives aligned with bankers and today's industrialists. (silicon valley)

If you don't admit that is what happened to the party because of its leadership you 7deluded yourself on purpose. millions of blue collar workers voted for trump because your party is no longer aligned with workers rights and needs.

Classical liberals invented the bill of rights. Thomas Jefferson was a classical liberal.
Nancy Pelosi is not.
Bernie... is far closer to a communist and strong central control than a classical liberal. (who were libertarians concerned about individual rights vs a monarch or govt ruler. Remember our first shot at govt set up by classical liberals was a far to weak central govt.


In short you are confusing the democrats alignment with cronies as moving away from the left and more towards the right. In reality both democrats and establishment 7republicans converged on bankers and silicon valley. They are willing to trade liberty for free stuff and more powerful govt.
Its not move to right its a move towards centralized govt and party rule.

2. Democrats pull all the nutcases from lambda to murderous thugs and into their party for vote on purpose republicans pull a few crazy religious into the party as well. But that is not the bulk of the party.

The bulk of the party is pro constitution and pro liberty. That is liberalism in the true sense of the word.

You need to pay attention to where you side is heading. They are not heading towards liberalism. They are progressing to powerful crony control. As are establishment republicans.

There are quite a few Teddy Roosevelt and even Lincoln republicans around DC - they just don't seem to be able to fight the Koch brothers cult wing of the Republicans. And it is utterly ruining this country by tearing it apart at the seems.
