Christians panic, claim Hurricane Matthew is punishment from God for the sin of sodomy.

More than a million Americans have been ordered to evacuate as Florida and South Carolina brace for Hurricane Mathew.

According to reports both South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Rick Scott have announced plans for massive evacuations.

In addition, President Obama warned residents of Florida and South Carolina to “prepare for the worst” while speaking to reporters Wednesday. Obama said:

This is a serious storm. If you get an evacuation order, just remember that you can always rebuild, you can always repair property. You cannot restore life if it is lost.

However, while government officials are making sensible plans for evacuation, Christian extremists are blaming the gays for the approaching hurricane.

For example, one anti-gay Christian extremist declares:

if you look at the long term historical records... they all look something like this.
we are at near historical lows in co2. If we had gone much lower we would have choked off vegetation.

We are no where near high temps.

the world gets greener as temps go up.

the ocean has been warming since the last ice age

there are volcanoes and vents warming the oceans especially under the polar ice.

CO2 levels follow ocean temps.

Man made warming is pure speculation with zero peer reviewed science support it that does not rely on failed models.

And here I thought the greatest threats to all of mankind were talking to Russian diplomats,(however this is only dangerous if done by a republican), statues,(still determining which ones, they may all be a threat), and those damn Confederate flags. Big, big threat those things are.

No only the ones that cry floods, droughts, rising seas, heat waves, blizzards, tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, landslides, sinkholes, tsunamis, forest fires, pine beetles, any and all insect infestation, avalanches, seasonal allergies, dead whales, dust bowls, deaths of aspen trees, coral deaths, malaria, jellyfish invasion, monsoons, hunger in Nepal, shark attacks, Swedish beetles, severe acne, flesh-eating disease, Global cooling, suicide of farmers in Australia, increase in kidney stones, penguin chicks frozen by global warming, drowning of polar bears, and the list goes on and on and on….. you just fail to understand, when anything and everything bad or twisted into something bad is because of AGW, that’s the definition of “Chicken Little”. Continuing to run around shouting Global warming on every turn is no different then shouting the sky is falling. In the past, Chicken Little was seen as the fool that he was, today it's a way to keep your rice bowl.
