Poor cops. Can't even assault unarmed citizens with complete impunity anymore.

The cop barely pushed him, the guy tripped over his own feet.

Again sad, tragic it happened but the cop was not trying to assault, beat, harm the man.

It looks, imo, the cop in question is shaking his head and apparently upset it happened.

...

I don't care how old he was the cops are not in the wrong here and it's just unfortunate he fell from being tapped and smacked his head I really don't care

Newsflash you don't go to a cop and start touching them bad things happen and it should be that way

Newsflash. If the guy trips and falls and bashes his head on the sidewalk, do you, as a cop, just walk past his bleeding body?

They are public servants, to serve and protect their community. All the cops that walked past his bleeding body are complicit in the "excessive force causing bodily harm." Sound familiar?

holy partisan bullshit batman. I guess I can just push people around and if one of them doesn't find their balance and cracks their melon I should be ok.

It was a very unfortunate event, but the cop wasn’t trying to assault the elderly man, and didn’t throw him to the ground as reported on the NBC evening news.

They assaulted the old man. To me, it looked a lot more like attempted murder considering his age and fragility. Bleeding from the ear is a sign of traumatic brain injury. He may very well succumb to his injuries given his age. What then? We just write it off as okay? Nothing happened? 50+ police officers resigned after the officer who assaulted this man got a suspension. If that doesn't tell you what side the police are on I don't know what could make it more clear.

They walked over him and it wasn't until the national guard rendered aid did anything happen to help him. The level of mental gymnastics you have to do to believe the police didn't do anything wrong here deserves a medal.

They called for a medic. If you’re predisposed that any cop using any type physical force is police brutality, then you come to today’s unfortunate conclusion and continue the MSM narrative.

I’d say let’s just shelve the police force for the time being. If you have a problem, resolve it yourself. Your house is burglarized? Don’t call the cops. Some one assaults you? No cops. Protesters want to burn the whole damn city, let em’ no cops. See how long it takes for people to change their tune.

Plenty towns in N. America w/a lone sheriff no one ever calls.

The cop radioed in for medical help right away can see him talking into his shoulder radio.

if he touches him to help then he gets sued for causing more damage

Crazy old fool tripped over his own feet

The second sentence is just retarded.

The first sentence is, well, yes, a cop radio's SOMETHING in. But after that, everyone just keeps on walking. Nobody kneels down to even ask the guy if he is conscious, breathing, etc. In fact, one cop pulls another cop away when HE wants to check the guy.
