A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump in the presidential race among registered voters, 47% to 42%, increasing her advantage after a debate against the former president that voters largely think she won.
A new Des Moines Register poll in Iowa finds Kamala Harris has significantly narrowed the presidential race in Iowa, cutting Donald Trump’s lead to 4 percentage points in a dramatic turnaround from Joe Biden’s double-digit deficit, 47% to 43% among likely voters.
Maybe, just maybe, there's a tidal shift in the air when Trump blows an 18% lead in Iowa of all place.
A new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump among likely voters nationwide, 52% to 46%.
It’s the same margin as before the debate which voters say Harris won by 58% to 36%.
Key takeaway: “The benefit for Harris occurred almost exclusively in her base, potentially helping her turnout efforts. Sixty-nine percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning Independents say the debate made them see her more favorably. Only half as many Republicans and GOP-leaning Independents, 34%, say the debate made them see Trump more favorably.”
