So far, Sister Linda is in the lead... from New Market Wizards, here are her stated stats:
70% of trades are profitable
Avg win = $450 per contract
Avg loss = $200 per contract
i.e. she has 2:1 reward:risk with a 70% hit rate...

In 1973 I was a commodity broker having discretion over a goodsize account of one of Williams' neighbors. My work showed that soybeans should drop and we did put on a short position.
I guess this guy was relaying our trades to Larry because I got a call from him and he said that while I may be correct on beans dropping a bit he thought they would explode soon.
That is exactly what happened.

My favorite is probably Linda Raschke. I have seen her trade live via her chat room, she certainly has the uncanny ability to pick SP turning points.
This list you posted is interesting, I believe most of these gurus probably make just as much money from selling their services as they do from trading.
I suspect most of them make 300k-400k a year from trading. At least thats what someone said about Don Miller, a comfortable living but not in the big leagues. A far cry from Bruce Kovner making $500 million last year !

Velez? What are you kidding me? This man has not traded in years. I sat down with this man for five days in a row, and learned very quickly that I wasted my money with him, and he DOES NOT TRADE. He's a great speaker....thats about it.

...just my black sense of humor. Gotcha! Are you absolutely sure he doesn't trade profitably? Like the day before the picks are announced? Besides, I needed somebody to bump Mark O. Douglas off the list. He is God to me, but like an all wise deity, he never says a word about systems. Does he trade? Betcha Pesavento asks HIM for advice!
