It's so hard to narrow it down to one.
In no particular order,
Lincoln, the Obama of his day, a radical elected by a narrow slice of the country who nevertheless pushed a devastating war on us, resulting in the deaths of half a million people,
Woodrow Wilson, the Obama of his day, an anti-Constitutionalist progressive,
FDR who was determined to get us into WW II against the country's wishes and against our best interests,
LBJ a loathsome, corrupt sleaze who put us on our current downward trajectory,
Eisenhower who sent federal troops to impose a second Reconstruction on the South,
Carter who turned Iran over to the islamist crazies,
Bush 41 who foolishly blundered us into a situation where Saddam Hussein thought it was ok to invade Kuwait then got us involved in what should have been a purely arab matter, leading to 9/11 ultimately,
Bush 43 who got us into two pointless wars, wrecking our budget in the process and of course
Obama, for all the reasons we know so well.
I have to go with FDR. legal protection for unions, wealth tax, SS, anti - free market regulation.. all started by FDR. A socialist who paved the way for unchecked federal authority. without him, we may have never heard of barry.
i did forget, thanks. And lol at liberals and all their fake human rights bullshit, such hypocrites. FDR is scraping the bottom of the barrel for certain.Don't forget Executive Order 9066: The President Authorizes Japanese Relocation
Our history revisionist bleeding heart liberal pussies still enjoy crying over that one to this day.
Even though it was their own beloved FDR that unilaterally created the camps.

I can't disagree. There are many things to not like about the polices that FDR put into place.
This being said - let me say that FDR was assertive and decisive. He also clearly had a backbone (despite being in a wheelchair regularly). Very different than some lack-luster modern presidents.
The reality is that the worst U.S. President was Ulysses S. Grant.
His presidency was marked by continued scandals caused by his many corrupt appointees and personal associates. All the actions of his administration were ineffective and Grant himself was not engaged - many times spending multiple consecutive days in drunken benders.

"At the same time, however, scholars portrayed his as the most corrupt administration in American history.[278]"
You SHOULD be teaching High School history classes! Like yesterday!
