All (books in the) Bibles were actually written by human beings (instead of our God) using merely some human created concepts and languages that may or may not be good enough to really understand what is God, as its existence be well beyond our comprehension or imagination by means of our eyes/ minds/ concepts/ languages/ etc.
Just some thoughts.

Pop orthodoxy insists this world is real, so real it's practically "sacred".
Therefore, withdraw all investment of faith in this world,
as if it were a badly pumped stock about to be dumped.
Sell everything you have in it and get out like it was burning down like a burning bush.
Take all the money you made from the sale and invest in the truth.
If the world is pumping guilt, buy all the innocence you can get your greedy little hands on, and hold on for dear life.
Buy and hold long-term for a handsome reward.
It's all about exchanging what's paper for what's true,
a caper for what's You.

This is because it is not really possible to answer such a question with a definition.
A definition would limit what is everything, what is all.
To define is very treacherous beyond simply "God is".
It's not always wise to speak beyond this.
The world arises out of a speaking beyond this...so-to-speak.
So words are used to bring the concept of God back to...
God is.
Then no words at all.
No more words.
Just, "the Word", which is not a word at all.
