That was not said in the post and that was not obviously the point.

Gays are a minority.

So? Gays are about the most in-your-face "minority". And since when was a lifestyle choice a minority? Should stamp collectors be protected? Chess players? Roller bladers?

There is a group trying to get sex with children made legal. They think they are a minority also. How about people who practice bondage? When do we decide who is a "protected group?"

Should they get to park in handicap spots? Be first in line for govt contracts? I am not interested in people's orientations, nor would I discriminate. But I don't need to know what they do in the bedroom. I am not interested in what heterosexuals, transgenders or others do in their home either. The first think I would say to a person trying to be "gay and proud" is, "so what?"

"ignorant hate mongers" are people who go around, trying to make others feel guilty without cause. Go have a discussion with Al Sharpton. The man is a classic hate monger.

Anyone slamming their bedroom or other private practices in my face would be shown the door. I am not interested. I don't discriminate against blacks, hispanics, women, handicapped, homosexuals, diff religions or any other group. It is the individual that matters, not their background. Some people are born mentally retarded and some are born geniuses, but they will both croak in a few decades.

that would be a complete guess on your part, and is unfounded. jesus made it clear that he was god. everything in the old and new testament stands, according to his own words.

Actually Jesus and his brother James head of the Jerusalem church made it clear he was not god, only your Paul said he was and he never met Jesus either.. he was the one guessing

I mean seriously, can you hear yourself? the bible was written by mystics in the language of the subconscious, ie: allegory and symbolism, to take it literally is the same as taking a dream literally.. it was then translated by the Greeks and 16000 changes made to it.. god's word?.. hardly

A descended god of virgin birth on December 25th who dies and is ressurected 3 days later is thousands of years older than the Jesus story

Paul merely pasted a pagan mythology onto a suitable candidate (Jesus) to appeal to the Romans.. it's time to wake up and smell the history and science we've been blessed with over the last 300 years...

Try this exercise.. examine your belief system as you would a trading system

Ask yourself why you believe what you do.. well because someone told you to.. a parent or a priest

Even reading the bible is just someone else's revised opinion that died a few millenia ago

And when you questioned it you were given answers but if any of those questions demanded proof you were told to just have faith

Would you bother with a trading system because someone told you to and said just have faith?

Try reading next time. There are multiple occurrences that He and others knew he was God. Try for example when Thomas sees him after resurrection and says to jesus "My Lord and my God!" or when jesus was before the sanhedrin trying to get him to admit who he was, and he told them that they will see the son of man riding on the clouds. - something in the OT that was only atttributed to god or try reading hebrews (not from paul) that makes it quite clear who he is or revelation, that is mostly about jesus and that he is the only one worthy to open the seals. Or the many OT passages that he is Immanuel "God with us" or is also referred to as "mighty god." There are numerous examples that it is obvious he is god. Blurting out things you know nothing about doesn't exactly put you in an "educated" light.
