Under most circumstances I wouldn't vote for either of these two crappy candidates. I will end up voting for Romney and Republicans on the basis of one issue only -- the financial transaction tax (FTT) that will put traders like me out of business. Many democrats are eager for the FTT and the Republicans will stop it if they can.

In the end, Obama will win easily. He's a lousy president, but incumbent presidents have a 70% chance of being re-elected and Romney is a lousy candidate with a campaign run by amateurs.

My hope is that the Republicans will at least hold onto the House of Representatives so they can stop the FTT. Otherwise, the FTT will put me out of business.

That actually is a good enough reason to vote. The fiat currency thingy is nearing it's final stages, no sense worrying about much else except trading since nothing else is going to keep pace with inflation when it really heats up.
