p.s. Just because you disagree with the above passage of Scripture does not validate the theist argument. This I agree however if you can't come up with a logical alternative to the contrary evidence then perhaps it's time to move on in this discussion.

I was just looking at the poll. It is all about image!! Buddhists have this image of being peaceful and benign but the most violent culture on the planet is possibly Thailand. You can look at somebody wrong there and they go straight for the hitman. They are a Buddhist culture.

No its not, because unlike theism, their atheism is NOT
what compels them to commit this act.

A LACK of belief is not capable of compelling someone to do anything.

I dont believe in unicorns. Does this make me kill people?

I dont believe in Santa Claus. Does this make me steal?

Nope. A lack of belief can never be blamed for compelling
someone to do something.

You may argue that a religious belief can PREVENT someone
from doing something bad, but you cant argue that a LACK
