Poll: Trump's approval rating sinks again to new record low

I'm going to laugh so hard in 2020 when Trump gets re-elected with these low approval ratings.

Remember...Trump had as low as a 22% favorable rating during the election. According to the media his average favorable rating was around 34 or 35% and he still won getting the most votes for a republican candidate in history.

But hey, keep these fake polls going...in the 2020 election it will just mean when I bet on Trump, I'll get better odds. Maybe 6 or 7 to 1 this time and really clean up.

He lost with voters by 3 million votes and won The EC by 78,000 votes,Hillary also had historically low favorable ratings.Hillary wont be our candidate in 2020 and Trumps numbers will likely be lower than they were in 2016.Trump has already lost more than the 78,000 votes that put him over the top in 2016.

Answer me this honestly. As sure as you were that Trump wouldn't be president during the 2016 election, are you more sure or less sure now that Trump will lose in 2020?

Because for me...I had a good feeling Trump would win in 2016, but I wasn't THAT sure. I'm more sure now that Trump will win in 2020 than I was he would win in 2016. I think you feel the same that you're not as sure Trump will lose in 2020 after what you witnessed in 2016. I know you're hoping he'll lose, but you have that doubt, don't you?

I'm more sure Trump will lose in 2020.If he had won big in 2016 like Obama did in 08 I wouldn't be as confident because Trump could afford to lose some voters and still win.Winning by 78,000 votes Trump cant afford to lose any support that he had in 2016.Considering democrats enthusiasm will likely be higher in 2020 Trump will likely need more supporters in 2020 than he did in 2016.

I think Trump needs to have an average approval rating of around 48 on election day to win re election.

Gallup poll numbers prior to re election below .Obama and Bush 2 aren't included because its from 2003 but Obama and Bush were around 50 % in Nov of their re election wins.

2 months prior to his re election Bush 1 was at 38 and Carter at 37.Ford was at 45% approval six months months prior to his election.

So what? You were still wrong, and Trump is President. You keep acting like there's some consolation prize.

Analysis is solid, much better than those that thought McCain and Romney would win.Analysis is even more solid with an with an actual presidential job record and job approval rating.
