I see that there are many who posted results. Thank-you.

Many of you have gained over 100% return or higher for the year.

Would those who earned such outstanding results make a few comments about:

1. Their primary trading vehicle in 2002 (ie. Equities, minis, options, EFTs etc.)

2. There primary time frame (ie. scalping, daytrading, overnight, swing, position etc.)

3. The amount of Margin exposure they commonly used throughout 2002.

You have to take into consideration that probably most 100%+ returns are on small accounts. It's not hard to make 100%+ on a $30k account.

A better poll would be how much everyone made in $ terms.

prop traders don't fund their accounts, so there is no % return.

Congrats to all of you guys who hit the 100% bogey. Hope I can join you all again next year. Rough year for me this year though.

eliminate the extremes i.e the bottom question and corresponding results and top question with corresponding results and you will get a more or less adequate picture of honest answers.

The results of the poll are encouraging. I decide to start trading for a living this year. Hopefully, I can get good results too.
