Very interesting, article: Thanks.

The question remains, however, now that ET's apparently entering a post-wild era, is who is going to emerge as the ET anti-war champion?

I can certainly make anti-war arguments.

There is a big difference between anti-war arguments, and anti-American arguments, which apparently Wild and the Euros failed to make a distinction of, ergo, the loss of their credibility.

I will think about it, and try to offer up some reasonable anti-war arguments.

Hmmmm.

Saddam on one side.

Bush on the other side.

Okay, let those two go to war with each other, fine by me. If we leave out the military efforts of both Saddam and Bush, and just see them go at it mano a mano, I would pay for tickets to watch that.

Bush is in a lot better shape, but SH has got much more experience with violence up-close-and-personal. Is this a boxing match, "ultimate fighting" type thing, or a fight to the death? I'd give a Bush the advantage in the first, maybe in the second, but I'd probably have to give it to SH for the last, as I'm given to understand that, until you've actually killed someone, it ain't exactly easy.

I think anything goes, except pretzles of course......

We do want a fair fight.

Of course, those useless UN inspectors still haven't turned up any pretzels, and I don't believe that Iraq made any mention of its widely-documented supply of pretzels in that fallacious 12,000 page compliance report.

One thing is certain, wild stopped posting on 11/23, since that time, posting to chit-chat political interest threads has dropped to a trickle. Gotta wonder how many aliases he was using.
Although it may appear that Wild and his disciple Fairplay have hung their heads in defeat and left ET, I fear that being the fanatics they are, they're most likely planning a new cut-and-paste-with-links assault and are probably frantically scouring the net this very minute searching for obscure, extremist data to bombard us with.
I doubt we've heard the last of them. 'boo hoo, sob, sniff'

Bush's pretzel experience is still shrouded in mystery. Do we really know what happened?

I was able secure a top secret dossier--(wouldn't the Euros and the Democrats like to get their hands on this) that shows clearly what happened with Bush and the pretzel.

The following is an FBI sketch artist's work of President Bush and the accused assailant, a.k.a. Mr. Salty, drawn within days following the strange pretzel experience, made with the assistance of a dog's eye view from Bush's dog who was the only known witness of the reported assassination attempt:

An attorney was immediately hired to defend the pretzel by the Chairman of the DNC, but the matter has been dismissed on the criminal level (Bush's advisors suggested he end the investigation and drop all charges after they saw the sketch artist's work exonerating the pretzel---and proving that Bush was just plain too retarded to eat pretzels without passing out---they feared of further bad publicity).

Currently the matter is pending while the pretzel's attorney, Nedra Ruiz is undergoing intense Yoga training so that she can assume the position of the pretzel to be better able to present her case in the upcoming civil suit, on the grounds of defamation of pretzel character charges.

I know you mean "1/23": I don't think that wild was using aliases, at all. FYI, and Op7s can fill you in better, I believe that wild was banned, perhaps permanently, as a result of cumulative complaints that climaxed around the time of a super-wildian performance in the chatroom. On that day, it first seemed to me that wild was opening up a bit, actually conversing or doing a fair imitation, even showing something resembling a sense of humor about himself. Near the end of the trading session, though, he appeared to be getting obsessed with a DER SPIEGEL-online response to Rumsfeld's comments about Europe, and started pasting extended German language excerpts, one after another, irrepressibly. I'm not kidding. Since as far as I know I was the only person in the chatroom at the time who could even read German, as wild also knew, I felt that his behavior was largely directed at me. I told him I thought it was childish, and impolite to everyone, and I finally told him I was going to put him on IGNORE, and did so, then yesterday learned about the ban.

I'm not completely sure that wild was totally unsalvageable - personally, that is - though I am completely sure that he was annoying, and that he showed precious little reason for anyone to expect that he'd grow up anytime soon. It'll be interesting to see how his former allies or fellow travelers will react, beyond a likely conspiracy theory and bitter, virulently anti-American commentary.

I bet that even as we discuss this, wild is inflicting himself or more likely his c&p's on some other web site frequented by Americans, and perhaps plotting a return.

Babak, can you confirm this please?

If he has indeed been banned, it's hilarious! I'm sure he thinks the ban was racially motivated as well and has filed it in his burgeoning folder labeled "American conspiracies against me." I never registered a complaint about Wild as I thought he'd do himself in eventually, as most extremists do - glad I was right.

His disciple Fairplay has been silent. Has he been banned too or is he lost without Wild's "guidance"?

As far as I know, no one mentioned in your post above has been 'banned'.
KymarFye, can you elaborate on what made you think Wild had been banned? Where did you get your info from?
