What is funny to me, is that a superpower should be living in fear of terrorists.
The superpower should act like one. The terrorists should be the ones living in fear, not the superpowers.
Crush the terrorist, their groups, their families, the states that support them.
Be unforgiving. Hang them in public, torture them, spit on their dead bodies.
Fear is all they understand, all they will ever understand.
We have the power to generate that fear, but in compassion we don't use our power.
I say, take the kid gloves off.
All this is precisely what Bin Laden wants, and am positive that Binny Boy is very grateful to the USA in respect of what the USA is up to these days... Al-Quaeda is probably currently going through a bull market of a recruitment drive these days...
A real super power wouldn't care what people like Bin Laden wants.
They would simply marshall all their power to destroy him, his family, his friends, his money sources, and anyone who supports him in any way.
That pussy countries like France live in fear of Bin Laden and terrorism just shows their weakness.
That the USA lives in fear or reprisal from slime like Bin Laden shows their weakness.
Kill them all, who gives a fuck.
If it means killing innocents along the way, well, too bad.
There comes a point where every citizen has to ask themselves, do they want to live their entire life in fear, and held hostage by the fear of future terrorism?
That is tyranny, not freedom. This country was founded on the principle of freedom from tyranny, and the founding fathers were willing to risk their lives to do so, make the necessary sacrifices to do so, lose members of their family or their own life to do so. The price of freedom was any cost.
The real problem is that most Americans don't see the real danger, the real enemy. While I don't want people to die, unfortunately I think more terrorist attacks on our soil will have to happen before people really wake up.
That feeling that people had on 911, that rage, that sense of being violated has to mature into a resolve, the kind of resolve that Bush currently has.
Put down the flag, forget the "freedom fries" and realize this is a war. Wars are won through courage and a willingness to die fighting, not through diplomatic measures.
Unfortunately, we have to sink to the level of these dogs, and show them that we are leader of the pack. They need to bring it on, and we need to send them back in body bags, then send in our killers and kill every one of them, until none of them remain.
This sounds barbarous, and indeed it is. But, we are dealing with barbarians who will not listen to reason. Isolation won't work. Time to let go of the mercy, and get the job done.
