Quote from dddooo:
I don't think it's the motivation of those voters. More likely they want to return to the years of peace, prosperity, strong dollar, strong military (capable of occupying Afghanistan in 2 weeks with no losses), full employment and budget surpluses. [/QUOT
Peace: Looking the other way while a overt, hostile, fanatic , and militant Islamic faction attacked and murdered American and European interests worldwide wasn't really peace was it ?
Prosperity: Personal and Corporate "prosperity" were fueled by an overabundance of cheap credit and the erosion of accepted accounting principals. Much of that "prosperity" was illegitimate and we have all been paying the price lately.
Strong Dollar: The introduction of the Euro has completely changed the landscape, as has the continuation of the Feds cheap money policies initiated under the Clinton administration. Clinton allowed Greenspan to turn the Fed Reserve into part of his political public relations machine.
Strong Military: Please tell me that is a joke. Clinton cut military funding in all areas especially intelligence.
Full Employment: That has never happened.
Budget Surpluses: Were the result of the Republican sweep of congress. They jammed tax cuts down Willy's throat, that where the surpluses came from.
You are an idiot......
