Which is why the Republicans better have more sense than to nominate Newt. If the Republicans had any sense the race would be a statistical tie between Ron Paul and Gary Johnson, with the neocons far behind. Unfortunately, the Republicans don't have much sense, and Gary Johnson is polling under 1%.

this is an interesting theory, but with 10 months to go and no viable candidate in sight it may end up in a trash bin soon.

are Reps too busy stuffing their pockets to focus on finding a good candidate?
