Luckily in Jack's case he sticks to trading contests and doesn't lose too much virtual money
 
LOL, you say 3X the daily range is "impossible" but then say you dont have a clue what is possible :)

Honestly, I dont know anyone who can do 3x the daily range everyday but I also will not say its impossible. Because I know and saw a guy trade something similar to Jack's method and he makes a solid 7 figures trading ES. He may not be making the "ridiculous" claim but he is making bank. And maybe he isn't nearly as good as another guy out there who never even visits ET and no one knows, but is able to hit these quotas.

If there is one thing that should hold true in trading, its that its a never ending quest for improvement and refinement and no one should ever be able to say that something is impossible unless it physically wasn't possible given the day's range (ie a strong trending day without any retraces). I will say the idea of 3x the range EVERYDAY is quite a far reaching claim but again, I don't have enough personal knowledge to say its impossible; just highly unlikely.

Hey Bluedolt, you don't even trade fulltime? You run a computer store!? LMFAO.

Between your little store and your need to post all day (during trading hours I might add), I can't imagine you find the time to trade. But then again, paper trading doesnt require the same efforts :p

Yep still clueless on what's the mean out there. Not much into statistics or what the others do or cant do. My only goal is to be able to trade well to put food on the table at the end of the month.

However, I do know common sense dictates 3X ATR everyday is beyond absurdity, it's so absurd, discussing it, is absurd too. :p
