POLL: Is all the hateful rhetoric against Obama both shameful and disturbing?

Is this a joke?
There is still a proportion of the pop that thinks Bush orchestrated 9-11, and want to waste time and money on a witch hunt to hang him. WTF????
I agree that "birthers" need to get over it, but criticizing Obama even bashing him at this point is fine. this dude's background, ideology, lack of experience, and lust for power are real and concerning. To disregard this criticism and label it as "racism" is at best ignorance, but more likely flat out dishonesty. Nothing worse than hypocrites.
Bail-outs (Bush's fault as well), Universal health care, nationalization of private companies (fucking debt holders for unions in blatent disregard of existing bankruptcy laws). Not to mention ambitions that aren't as well known such as: emergency power to shut down the internet, and A CIVILIAN SECURITY FORCE and I quote "just as well armed and well funded as the military".
Why the fuck would he need such powers???

And there we have it. 45 respondents, representing almost three quarters of the people who participated in this poll, believe that hateful rhetoric is fine. They find it neither shameful nor disturbing. Note that the poll was not about criticism. It was about hate. And, evidently, that's just fine.

You are certainly entitled to your insults - regardless of how low you want to make them - but please don't seek the moderator's help in the feedback forum and pretend you are guiltless in the quality of posts found in this forum.
LOL why dont you do a search on the word "retard" and see how many times that comes up on this site. I guarantee it numbers in the thousands of pages, And i never even used that word in my above post.
So there is quite a bit of a difference there, between that and PMing someone with racist statements.
In a way what you said is actually true, it would be an insult to most people with downsyndrome to be mistaken for gayfly1.
