Here is some hateful rhetoric:

Unfair attack from the Right on Obama’s lack of response?

Gary Gross notes this completely unfair attack on Barack Obama’s response to the Eunuch Bomber on Christmas Day:

“I hope the terrorists don’t think this is a good time to attack,” I said, looking protectively at the White House, which always looks smaller and more vulnerable and beautiful than you expect, no matter how often you see it up close.

I thought our guard might be down because of the holiday; now I realize our guard is down every day.

Man, that Bill Kristol can get nasty when Obama makes a mistake, can’t he? Oh, wait — that wasn’t Kristol? Maybe this came from Dick Cheney. Yeah, that must be it, because the article goes on to say this:

Before he left for vacation, Obama tried to shed his Spock mien and juice up the empathy quotient on jobs. But in his usual inspiring/listless cycle, he once more appeared chilly in his response to the chilling episode on Flight 253, issuing bulletins through his press secretary and hitting the links. At least you have to seem concerned.

Darn it, Mr. Vice-President, how dare you suggest that Obama doesn’t care about national security and terrorist attacks! That’s below the belt, and … huh? That wasn’t Dick Cheney, either? Was this Rush Limbaugh, then?

Citing the attempt of the Nigerian’s father to warn U.S. authorities six months ago, the president intoned: “It now appears that weeks ago this information was passed to a component of our intelligence community but was not effectively distributed so as to get the suspect’s name on a no-fly list.”

In his detached way, Spock was letting us know that our besieged starship was not speeding into a safer new future, and that we still have to be scared.

Heck of a job, Barry.

Heh. Good one, Rush, tying that back to Katrina and the incompetence that — oh, wait, it wasn’t Rush Limbaugh, either? Well, who was it who attacked Barack Obama so personally? Next thing you’ll tell me is that it was someone like Maureen Dowd. Give me a break.

Oh, wait …

If Obama has lost Maureen Dowd, then perhaps the outrageous outrage that erupted this morning over Cheney’s remarks should be reconsidered. Be sure to read Dowd’s entire column, a sentence I thought I’d never write.

Indeed, and the right wing has mastered it, adding self righteous indignation to the mix...

Quote from bugscoe:

It's a nice convenience to always be the victim, isn't it?

"every single liberal"

Typical all or nothing statement from a right wing extremist...

Quote from drjekyllus:

And when the controversy started to heat up every single liberal in the country stood by Letterman. So that argument is bogus.

How is opposing a horrible health care bill HATRED from Right Wing crazies?

Maybe you were not in the US when Bush was President. Liberals were making movies about Bush getting killed. They were also falsifying documents and putting them on the evening news. How is that for hatred from the compassionate left? Check out what the hero of the left, Michael Moore has to say.

"No President had experienced such a thing on his inauguration day" Michael Moore.

You have the left's hero actually admitting that the left's hatred for Bush from Day 1, was unprecedented.

So Gabfly, just like every other loser leftist, can dish it out, but he can't take it.

Quote from Gabfly1:

I'm only guessing, but perhaps some of the electorate was opposed to having their president effectively appointed by the Supreme Court. As I recall, the entire civilized world was in disbelief back then. Judging by your last post, that would exclude you.

You, as usual, have no idea what you are talking about. It was Al Gore that decided to settle the case in court. It wasn't Bush. Al Gore lost the court battle by a 7-2 margin. Second of all, there was NEVER a time, when Gore was winning in FL. NEVER.

I also love how the liberals make it sound like the Supreme Court is some phony court with no authority when the talk about Bush/Gore. However, if you talk about Roe V. Wade, they have absolutely no problem with the Supreme Court at all.

Oh yesssireeeeee!!!

...and Barry Bonds didn't do roids, Tiger didn't cheat on his wife, and the voters of south Miami who are predominately Jewish purposely voted for Pat Buchanan in 2000...

...oh, and it was only a coincidence that Bush's brother was governor of Florida, and Katherine Harris really followed the law...

Yeah pretty much.

BTW, when is that Sarah Palin divorce supposed to happen?

You are propagating lies. That makes you a liar.

Really? Are you serious? What did their ballots say?

...oh, and it was only a coincidence that Bush's brother was governor of Florida, and Katherine Harris really followed the law...

How does this affect the vote count?

Just face it. Al Gore got bitch slapped by Bush. Four years later, Bush bitch slapped Kerry. Of course, Bush didn't win that one either. It was all the damn Swift Boaters wasn't it.

How about the very incriminating photo of Bush and Harris shaking hands? Optional777 may have found the smoking gun.
