Larry Williams?! Ken Roberts?! W.D Gann?! The first two would try to take your lunch while the third one would attempt to levitate it.

About Ken Roberts I agree.
That guy is a salesman, not a trader.

My lone vote for Marty is holding up quite well.

Cause I drink alone, yeah, with nobody else.

Yeah, you know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

True, but on the poll about "who first got you into Futures trading" Ken Roberts was responsible for more people than anyone on the list! I suspect some people would want to dine with him, to either learn how to siphon money from newbies, thank KR for getting them into trading in spite of his inability to trade himself, or perhaps jump him

Sadly, he has made a lot more money than many via futures trading, but I suspect little of is was from profitable trading. :D

Where's Paul Rotter??? yeesh rcanfield your list blows.

I thought it was rather good. Perhaps you would care to make a better list of 10. And of course, you will find people blowing holes in that list also...

Leaving Stevie Cohen of SAC Capital off that list is quite telling of your exposure to the financial markets . . .

Cohen has got to be, the GREATEST TRADER in the last 15 years.
No one even comes close to his performance.

I've worked for Sperandeo and Jones back in the 80's. Victor was an excellent technician and Dow Theorist, with a heart of gold and Paul had his moments using cycles, fibs, gann, elliott wave, and looking for various analogs and intermarket relationships.

I'd vote Stevie all the way.
Besides, most of the fund's money is his own!

Have a nice weekend everyone.
:)
