And Truman beat Dewey. You got anything a bit more current? and pertinent? How 'bout support for your "facts" that urban schools are as well-funded as suburban schools?

Facts on funding? Sure .... from the county I volunteer in.

Since you likely don't even know what a Title I school is you can read more ...

http://www.brighthubeducation.com/teaching-methods-tips/11105-basics-of-title-1-funds/

I'll assume you can read the chart that clearly shows Title I students get more $$$ allocated than 'regular' middle class or upper class schools.

So all the generalizations you've been making about urban and suburban schools have been about one county?

I've not made generalizations. I have stated my experiences with facts to support them. Further, I have volunteered 13 years and in multiple States. Last, Title I schools are nationwide and thus those schools receive funding over and above what other schools receive.

By law, schools must spend Title I money on programs that specifically and exclusively benefit low-income students who are failing, or are at risk of failing, academic requirements.

Guess the fact that I posted FACTS regarding funding for high poverty schools has you scrambling to made more excuses.

PS I suggest you quit while you're behind. You just keep digging a deeper hole.

The real reason for dbphoenix's love affair with Judy Garland.

Judy Garland as gay icon

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Judy Garland as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz(1939)
Actress Judy Garland is widely considered a gay icon. The Advocate has called Garland "The Elvis of homosexuals."[1] The reasons frequently given for her standing as an icon among gay men are admiration of her ability as a performer, the way her personal struggles seemed to mirror those of gay men in America during the height of her fame, and her value as a camp figure.[2] Garland's role as Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz is particularly noted for contributing to this status.

Holy cow, I had no idea. Check out this from the Wiki:

"Garland herself acknowledged her camp appeal during her lifetime, saying "When I die I have visions of fags singing 'Over the Rainbow' and the flag at Fire Island being flown at half mast."[8] Fire Island, a resort community with a large LGBT presence, is also referenced in Garland's final film, I Could Go On Singing, described as "her most gay film" and as the film most aware of its gay audience."

That is just too funny

You've generalized from your experiences in one county. Perhaps no one in the business school you allegedly attended explained extrapolation. Or perhaps no one told you the story of the three blind men and the elephant (this is at the heart of the minimum wage discussion).

Be that as it may, the data from the US Department of Education is more likely to have national application than data from one little county. You may want to review that particular set of facts.

P.S. You needn't keep posting your CV over and over again. Even if true, it's irrelevant.

Okay it's clear you understand ZERO about Title I schools. Title I schools nationwide get the extra funding. READ and try to comprehend what links I included if your feeble mind can do so.
