It's not fair to ding ET for having shitty trading discussions. Nobody who is even pitifully successful wants to give anything away. That's why you can be sure if they're giving it away it's worthless.

But if you're feeling generous, look a little higher up in the forum and help out out fellow NQ trader here:

I've already said most of what I have to say about trading, and even I'm getting bored, having repeated myself so often. Not that anyone would really care to listen anyway. Bottom line, everyone has to find their own way of doing things with what they see on screen. They need to do their own cost/benefit to arrive at a workable means of trading markets they find agreeable in a manner they find agreeable.

Not that it should make any difference, but I have been weaning myself from NQ.

When I became interested in trading I stumbled onto ET. While it is true that nobody (except T28 lol) is giving away any viable techniques I think I learned alot here.

After reading here for a few months I began to have a sense of "knowing what I don't know" and that, for me, is the first step to figuring out what to study and how to approach the problem.

I also became familiar with the language and frankly I got a couple of pretty good broker/banker deals here. Utlimately I got recruited by a $12B hedge fund on ET.

There is value here. There are also hustlers and swindlers. Anyone approaching you for money in a pm on ET is suspect, basically. Some of the people offering for you to trade with their money are for real. Some offering good commissions are for real. Just be careful.

Never thought I'd agree with you on anything, but your assessment on trading is spot on. Now back to our differences. I'm finding considerable success in the NQ just as you are weaning yourself from it.

I must admit that occasionally your colorful descriptions of right wingers you consider extreme, whether correctly or not, leave me chuckling. Now if we can get you to listen to Mark Levin for a month...just kidding
