In the markets, if you trade what is popular and people think should work you will lose money. The N-Day Breakout is the least popular methodology in the poll, but it should not be.

In order to show this point I have run a group of 8 markets using a 20-day channel breakout in TradersStudio 2.0 beta, since 1970. I deducted $75.00 slippage and commissions.

This report has a lot of good stuff in it, from summary, trade-by-trade, monthly breakdown, annual breakdown, correlation between markets and more.

If people are interested I will run more portfolios in TradersStudio. If someone wants to decide on trading rules for the other methods and post TradeStation code, I will translate it and run this analysis in TradersStudio this way we can find the actual winner and not just opinion

You had had my support, CD, but you're starting to act like a real jerk. Perhaps this is where you belong after all.

No offense, I only meant it was the first post going back to the original post and it was refreshing.

First, I will never do anything at the bequest of a puppet tabloid reporter such as yourself. Lately even your followers have seen and stated their disappointment in your comments. Your true colors are blossoming.

I will offer to have it tattooed on your ass. Entirely at my expense. There's definitely plenty of room for all the Rules.

OR

Be my personal guest for a one-on-one trade-off. Just you and me trading the Spot EURO for 8 straight hours . . . in front of an audience of my choice. (This way I can be sure of having a non bias group calmly watching the trading) Ten real contracts each. The one with the most profit at the end of 8 hours wins. The loser posts and personally pays for a half page ad in the Wall Street Journal published within 5 days after the trade-off publicly apologizing for his disappointing attitude toward others, ad to include real name of loser, all web sites of loser & picture of loser and tauts the superiority of the winner's trading methods in the ad. The loser and loser's IP address will also be permanently banned from ET.

Up for it . . . or are YOU afraid?
